A recent gathering in Madrid welcomed faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The dialogue included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, news eu and Denise González. Speakers presented personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how mutual knowledge can reduce prejudice.
During the event, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when supported by education and dialogue.
